For our Client we are looking for experienced and knowledgeable Embedded Software Developer.
Main tasks will be: debugging and development of Firmware; comprehending feature requirements, design and architecture; transporting SoC SW to new HW platform.
The Candidate should have:
• At least 5 years of experience in working within embedded software development lifecycle;
• Practical experience in remote debugging on target platforms;
• Deep understanding of embedded OSes, especially Linux;
• Practical knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems;
• Understanding of L2 and L3 optimal memory allocation;
• Extensive knowledge of SW architecture, resource management, software patterns for embedded systems;
• Knowledge of real time systems characteristics;
• Knowledge of communication protocol stacks (OSI model) area;
• Experience in HW debugging;
• Experience in C and cross compilation;
• Understanding of all stages software application life cycle;
• Interpersonal and communicative abilities;
• Proactive, flexible and self-driven attitude;
• Flexibility to travel for 3 to 5 months to customer premises in the USA;
• Ability to work independently and with a team, in high-stress situation, ability to lead;
• Good English skill.
Additionally it would be a plus, if Candidate would have: experience in test-driven development (with unit-tests environments for C/C++); understanding of LTE (L2/L3) and L1integration over FAPI interface; knowledge of dataplane and NSS integration over GTPU; experience in performance testing scenarios; knowledge of IPsec (tunnel mode), X2 support.
